Bootleg Radio: Josh Madsen

The Bootleg proudly presents the first offering of yet another ground-breaking new series to spring from the ever-expanding obsessions of your shamelessly award-seeking website!

On October 13, 2007, we had a chance to talk briefly with former Card safety Josh Madsen, a captain and leader of the 1996 Sun Bowl-winning Stanford team and one of The Bootleg's all-time favorites. "Dr. Madsen" was in town with Tiffany (his lovely wife of 11 years) for the TCU Homecoming game and the LSJU Class of 1997 10-Year Reunion. Amazingly, it was the Madsens' first time setting foot back on campus in all of those years. Read on to find out the interesting story behind why the original "Mad Dog" has been just a little busy back in Louisville, KY.

Note: I apologize in advance for 1) practically yelling my way through this interview with Josh and 2) barely letting the poor guy get a word in edgewise - the game was about to start and I was in a serious hurry! Go ahead and give me grief for it. Seems to work for Murph!  Seriously, for once it was a bit of a madhouse scene in the Chuck Taylor Grove with the actively tailgating homecoming crowd, boom boxes cranking out KZSU highlights and a stirring pre-game performance from the LSJUMB.

Homecoming Interview with the great Josh Madsen:

Enjoy!
