"Summer Session 2010" w/ Jim Harbaugh on 7/31/10
the second consecutive summer, Stanford
Head Coach Jim "EUTM" Harbaugh will be the featured guest at a
special gathering of our football program's most enthusiastic and loyal fans for
an extended, yet casual "Q & A" session. We think this event
comes at a perfect time, as the excitement resonatiing
from the success of the 2009 season has so many of us already
fired up for the August 9 opening of the Cardinal's 2010 fall camp.
While this is not permitted to be a "Bootleg-specific" event, we are strongly encouraging Booties to attend this unique session that has been arranged with the man who is leading the steady ascension of our beloved football program to Pac-10 and BCS championship form. We are starting late-morning this time in an attempt to avoid the sun's merciless assault during the mid-afternoon. Notice of this event will also be communicated through EUTM's Twitter account. Coach Harbaugh is looking forward to seeing some of the Bootleg member "handles" that he may recognize - we'll have nametags available for those willing to be "cognito". "Lurkers" will be tolerated. "ME-97", our former "Chief Bootie", should be in the house as well.

with a sabre-rattling group rendition of
Note: "Beverage service" will start at 11:00AM, food grill opens at 11:30AM. Zott's management has kindly agreed to start adult beverage service a half an hour earlier than their usual 11:30PM on Saturdays.

Address: 3915 Alpine Road in Portola Valley, CA. (650) 854-4004

The Alpine Inn is on the left before you reach the Alpine Hills Country Club. Ample free parking, just like at Stanford Stadium (at least historically!)
Pre-Event Bootleg Gathering: "Emeritus", "Lars82" and others will be arriving at 10:00am in order to stake out ample territory in the back beer garden.
What to Bring: "Non-Cal friends of the program", sensible and at least fairly appropriate questions for Coach Harbaugh, sunscreen, and adequate financial resources for ice cold beer, outstanding cheeseburgers and, should you get inspired, sizable donations to Stanford's deserving Buck/Cardinal Club.
What Not to Bring: Even moderately-attractive college-age daughters, piss-poor attitudes.
What to Wear: Stanford Football-promoting attire. Vintage "Buddy Ball" baseball hats, old-school "Bring Back the Indian" golf hats. Fair Warning: Unless it says "Michigan", wearing anything "blue" could well get you tossed unceremoniously over the six-foot wooden fence.
