On Wednesday, Scout's basketball recruiting team -- Evan Daniels, Brian Snow and Josh Gershon -- updated the 2017 top 100. With changes in the player rankings there are changes in the team rankings. Kentucky sits at No. 1, while UCLA and Arizona round out the top three.

On Wednesday, Garfield seniors Jaylen Nowell and Daejon Davis officially signed binding letters of intent to play basketball at Washington starting in 2017. They held a ceremony at the Garfield gym to mark the occasion. Wednesday was the first day of the early signing period for men's basketball.

Daejon Davis, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Garfield High in Seattle, verbally committed to Washington for the second time in this recruiting cycle. He originally committed to the Huskies back in August of 2015 before opening things back up this past April.
