Trevor Ishmael, a 6-foot, 185-pound from North Miami Beach, Fla., is holding five offers and it sounds like the one he's most interested in finding out more about is Syracuse.
"The coaches from Syracuse came down last spring, but I haven't actually talked to them since mid-summer," Ishmael stated. "I'm not sure if they've tried to call me during the season or not, but I definitely do want to hear from them, so hopefully they see this and give me a call."
"I just know it's a great opportunity for all four of us at my school because I've been watching them and I love what their defensive coordinator does with his players on defense," Ishmael explained. "Some of the schemes he uses are really creative and I like how he mixes things up to put his players in better positions to make plays."
"I've heard they're a private school with a good education, but being from down here I obviously don't hear a lot about Syracuse on a daily basis. I'd definitely like to take an official visit there to learn more about the school."
So far this season, Ishmael has 16 catches for 294 yards and four touchdowns through five games this season, however he does not know his defensive stats.
