Mouhon Sets Official Visit

Three-star defensive end Silverberry Mouhon has now official set his official visit date with Syracuse and when we spoke with him on Wednesday night and asked him where the Orange ranked amongst his list of offers, he gave us a straight answer that may surprise some fans.

Norcross High School defensive end Silverberry Mouhon has now officially set up an official visit with Syracuse and it sounds like if everything continues to go as planned, the Orange will have a very good shot at landing the 6-foot-3, 225-pound athlete.

"My official visit is going to be December 10th," Mouhon stated. "I was going to go during my off week, but my off week is their bye week too, so that didn't work out. I've been talking to Coach (Greg) Adkins and he actually stopped by the school recently. He just said the defense is based on pressuring the quarterback and that he thought I'd fit in really well on the football field and really like it up there."

"Syracuse is probably my No. 2 behind Florida State, but I don't have an offer from the Seminoles at this point," Mouhon said. "I went to a camp this summer and they said they're going to watch my senior film. I know one of their coaches will be up to see me this Friday. If Florida State doesn't offer me, then Syracuse would be on top for me right now."

"I haven't really thought about where I'll take other official visits to other than Syracuse at this point, but I'll start getting on that in November and then plan to decide in late December."

So far this season, Mouhon has 35 tackles and 3.5 sacks while Norcross is off to a 5-1 start.
