Fuller Talks SU Offer

Old Tappan, N.J., signal caller Devin Fuller picked up his 18th verbal scholarship offer from Syracuse University on Tuesday and while he watched the Orange play twice last season and was impressed, he has to do some research on the school itself.

Devin Fuller, a 6-foot, 185-pound quarterback from Old Tappan Regional High School just snagged another offer from Syracuse and called Scout.com to talk about the offer.

"I just got out of track practice and wanted to let you know I got offered by Syracuse," Fuller said. "I didn't get to talk to them yet because my coach let me know about it. He doesn't know what position they like me at yet, so when I talk to them later tonight I'm going to get more details on that from the staff."

"I watched their bowl game against Kansas State this season and it was a good game and I liked the style of their offense," Fuller stated. "I also was at their game against Rutgers and they seemed to be really good this year. They won both games I saw this season and to be honest, I did like that they have a young quarterback in there. They also run a lot out of the shotgun which fits me well."

"At this point I just need to talk to the coaching staff and learn more about the program."

As a junior, Devin Fuller completed 95 of 143 passes for 1,886 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also carried the ball 191 times for 2,306 yards and 32 touchdowns, giving him a total of 4,150 yards and 52 scores on the year. On defense, he added 65 tackles and three interceptions.
