Korang Loves Syracuse

Mount Holly, N.J., offensive lineman Ray Korang traveled to Syracuse with teammates Dominic Twitty, Deshawn Jones and Dylan Finelli this weekend and he says he and his teammates were completely loving the entire experience provided by the Orange Family.

Ray Korang, a 6-foot-8, 285-pound offensive tackle from Rancocas Valley Regional High School doesn't have a Syracuse offer yet, but his teammate Dominic Twitty does and apparently they're both pretty high on the Orange after visiting.

"It was fun. I loved it there and it kind of felt like home. We were expecting it to be like country and Syracuse was like a little Philadelphia, so we really loved it up there."

"We came up the night before and hung out in the hotel room and then we watched the Pinstripe Game," Korang explained. "After talking to some coaches we went and watched the spring game and it was really intense. They were out there hitting and really killing each other and I loved it. We had front row seats and I loved it."

"Compared to other visits I've taken this was by far my favorite visit," Korang stated. "Facility wise, Rutgers and Connecticut come out on top, but the people and atmosphere at Syracuse was definitely second to none. Dominic Twitty and my teammates were up there with me and we were just grinning the entire time."

Korang, a 6-foot-8, 285-pound offensive tackle currently has offers from Louisville and Temple and we asked him if Syracuse talked to him about where they have him right now.

"They want me to come up for a camp on June 10th," Korang said. "I'm not sure if I'll be able to go up at this point with my schedule and everything, so we'll see. I know the camp isn't at Syracuse, it's outside of New York."

Korang is also hearing from BC, Rutgers, Villanova, UCF, Ohio, Wisconsin and many others.
