2015 prospect Briscoe taking it all in

Though he is just a high school freshman, Isaiah Briscoe has plenty in front of him. He is already 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, and he has clear goals coupled with solid influences to help him develop before he suits up for a college team.

Isaiah Briscoe plans on being one of the best floor generals of the future, and he seems to have things in line on the way there. The freshman at St. Benedict Prep in Newark, New Jersey gets to play with a player going through what he is hoping for down the road.

Briscoe is the teammate and close friend of 2013 top-notch point guard Tyler Ennis.

"He's like a brother," Briscoe said after attending Syracuse's Midnight Madness with Ennis.

Ennis has a flurry of offers from schools all over the country, something the younger brother looks forward too.

"We talk about colleges and stuff, he tells me what's good and what's not," Briscoe added. "And what schools are point guard schools."

The floor general has a certain buzz surrounding his name, so he took the events in along with several solid recruits including Nerlens Noel and Goodluck Okonoboh. As all of the prospects admitted, the scene was impressive in front of 26,000 fans.

"It was fun, seeing the pros and seeing how they get along," Briscoe said. "They made me feel like I'm family."

"The future," as Briscoe has been nicknamed by older peers after excelling at several camps and youth leagues, has another family connection with Syracuse. His older sister is Iasia Hemingway, a senior power forward on the Orange women's team.
