UPDATE: Alec Lemon goes in-depth on status

Alec Lemon came on late for Syracuse in an otherwise disappointing tail-end to the 2011 season, but he missed spring ball with a shoulder injury. Now on the mend, the leading receiver updates CuseNation.com with his status inside.

Fresh off of preseason All-Big East accolades, Alec Lemon and the rest of the Syracuse University contingent showed up in Rhode Island for the Big East Media Days.

In the prelude to the final go-round for SU in the conference, Head Coach Doug Marrone sent a handful of players to the kickoff clambake.

Our Dan Tortora spotted Lemon there, and was able to talk to him one-on-one about his injury.

When asked to judge the stage of the healing process from one to 10, Lemon said, "I'm 100 percent."

"I have a new shoulder, I'm fine," he added.

Lemon is expected to tandem with Marcus Sales, both seniors, to lead the Orange receiving corps this season - the SU's final as members of the Big East before departing for the ACC.
