Myles Hilliard Adjusting To Life At Milford

Former 2012 Syracuse commit Myles Hilliard was looked at as a prospect who could make an impact for the Orange. However, the talented defensive end ended up at Milford due to academic issues. He spoke with about how he's adjusting to that transition.

Defensive End Myles Hilliard was supposed to be on the Syracuse roster this season. However, due to academic trouble, he had to attend Milford Academy to get his grades in order. He spoke with about how he's adjusting.

"It's been cool," Hilliard explained. "I'm just getting used to the environment."

So far, Milford has played two games. Both resulted in wins, and Hilliard was a factor in both.

"We won both," he said. "In the first game, I had four tackles. In the second game, I had three tackles, six hurries, one sack, and two bat downs."

Hilliard is adjusting to life at Milford well and getting to know his new teammates. So far, the adjustment has gone very well.

"I've had fun with the team," he stated. "So far, I've had a good time with the environment. I'm comfortable and fitting in well. The coaching staff is pretty nice too."

As Hilliard continues to adjust, Syracuse fans should not worry. He says no schools have been in touch with him, though it is still very early in the season.

Syracuse has not been in touch with him either since the season started, but he says he is, "100% 'Cuse."

Hilliard is planning to get his academics in order this semester and enroll at Syracuse in January 2013.
