Tyler Ennis was the top priority for Syracuse in the class of 2013. They snagged their man as he made his commitment official on August 16th. Since then, Ennis has been enjoying life and helping the Orange recruit.
"Life has been great," he declared. "I've been focusing on getting better and getting my body right. I talk to Syracuse coaches pretty much every day.
"I talk to just about every coach on the staff. They just make sure I'm good and still working hard."
Since his commitment, he has not spoken to coaches from other schools. He says his recruiting process is over and is happy with his choice.
Clearly the point guard position was a big priority for the Syracuse staff. With Brandon Triche graduating and Michael Carter-Williams one big season away from a potential jump to the NBA, the Orange needed to make sure they had a plan.
With Ennis in the mix, they are now focusing on other elite talent. Ennis is doing his part as well, trying to make sure he gives his Orange squad the best chance to win.
McCullough and Whitehead will both be in attendance at the Orange's midnight madness, where Ennis will undoubtedly be in their ear about playing with him at Syracuse.
