Chris McCullough Names Leader

2014 5-star forward Chris McCullough has been recruited by some of the top programs in college basketball. Entering his junior year, he has named a leader in his recruitment. CuseNation.com spoke to him about who the leader is, and why they stand out.

Chris McCullough is one of the top forwards in the 2014 class. The 5-star prospect has drawn interest from college basketball's elite. As he enters his junior year, he has a leader in his recruitment.

"Yeah Syracuse is my leader right now," McCullough told CuseNation.com.

Syracuse has recruited McCullough the longest, and has made him a high priority for the 2014 class. The work the staff has put into recruiting him has paid off.

"They stand out because I have the best relationship with the coaching staff," McCullough explained. "I like those guys."

Another factor is his relationship with fellow 2014 5-star Isaiah Whitehead. Whitehead is being recruited hard by Syracuse. McCullough says that is a big factor as well.

"Yeah we talk about going to Syracuse together," he said. "That is part of it too."

While no decision is imminent, Syracuse is in a great position to land the top player on their board for 2014.
