Roberson Closing in on Decision

Tyler Roberson's recruitment has been a battle of major programs. He recently trimmed his list to three, and is looking to make his decision soon. He spoke with about that timeframe, and where things currently stand.

Recently, 4-star wing Tyler Roberson trimmed his list to Syracuse, Villanova, and Kansas. Those three schools are all making last minute pushes for his services as he closes in on a decision. That decision could come sooner rather than later.

"I'm really close to a decision," Roberson declared. "Actually like next week or later this week. I'm just really close to a decision. I'm just trying to figure everything out and make sure I make the right choice. Just getting all the information I can to make sure when I make the choice it's the right one."

Despite being close, the 6-foot-7 forward says he does not have a leader. As things come to a conclusion, he has a difficult decision ahead.

"Right now I'm still considering all three," Roberson explained. "All three are coming at me. I talk to all the coaches pretty much every day.

"None are really standing out. All three are really great options. That's why it's such a tough decision because all three schools are really good schools. I don't know which one to choose. It's a hard decision and that's why I'm trying to get all the information I can, talk to the coaches, and make sure I make the right choice."

Syracuse has been rumored to be the leader for Roberson for a while. However, they have received four commitments in a three week period. The talented forward says that will not have any impact on his decision.

"It doesn't have any impact on my decision, all the commitments," Roberson said. "I think they've had like three or four. None of that impacts me at all."

As Roberson closes in on his difficult decision, he knows what will be the most important factor for him.

"I'll go where I think I would fit in the program," Roberson stated. "And just where I felt comfortable playing basketball and going to school. Those are going to be the two most important factors in where I go."
