The Orange invaded the Pirates' ship and came away with a victory. More inside.

The Syracuse Orange men's basketball has tried since January 19th to elevate to a victory away from the Carrier Dome, but have been unsuccessful, losing in three straight road games.

That streak ended in New Jersey, as the Orange toppled the Pirates of Seton Hall for their 21st win of the season.

Senior guard Brandon Triche led Syracuse as well as all players in total for first half points, with 12.

Both teams shot better than 43% from the field in the first half, with the Orange holding a two-possession advantage at the break, up 36-30.

In the second half, Syracuse never rescinded the lead, going up multiple times by double-digits, winning 76-65.

Triche held onto his place atop all scorers with 29 points.

Junior guard/forward Fuquan Edwin led Seton Hall with 21 points.

The Orange ended the match with a mere four turnovers.

Syracuse returns home to face the Providence Friars in their second match of the season at the Carrier Dome on February 20th at 7pm ET.
