Recruits React to Win Over Georgetown

Syracuse got a huge win over rival Georgetown in the Big East tournament. Some of the Orange's commits and recruits react to the win inside.

It was a classic Big East Tournament battle between the rivals that were the cornerstone of the conference. After the thrilling overtime victory, caught up with some recruits to get their thoughts.

Tyler Ennis: "It was a perfect way, for us of course, to end a rivalry. I was just relieved. I'm hoping we can win the conference tournament in our last year in the Big East."

Chris McCullough: "It was an intense battle. A good game. I was running down the hallway screaming (after they won)."

B.J. Johnson: "We played hard .The offense is back in sync. I was pretty excited. I expressed my feelings on Twitter." Johnson would tweet "Like I said, Otto Porter who?" after the Syracuse win.

Ron Patterson: "It was a great win. I felt like they played with a lot more energy this game than the others in the past versus Georgetown. I was very excited they finally beat Georgetown when it really counted."

Tyler Roberson: "I think it's great that they were able to beat Georgetown after losing to them twice."

2016 guard Tyus Battle: "They finally played with a sense of urgency. Looks like a team that could get hot."
