Lee 'Excited' by 'Cuse Offer

Wide receiver will be an important position for Syracuse's 2014 class. One of their recent offerees is Trevon Lee out of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Florida. He reacts to the offer from the Orange inside.

Syracuse is looking to bolster their receiving talent in the 2014 class. A number of offers have gone out, including to Cardinal Gibbons (FL) product Trevon Lee.

"Eric White, the director of recruiting, messaged me on Facebook and told me to call Coach (George) McDonald," Lee recalled. "He's the offensive coordinator. He's the one that offered me. I was really excited. Syracuse is a really good school and they're up and coming.

"He said that they really like me and that I'm on the top of their recruiting board. He likes how I play and knows that I can fit in well at the school."

The Orange have made their interest in the 6-foot-1 wideout known. But with twelve offers already in hand, is he as interested in them as they are in him?

"Of course I'm interested in them," Lee admitted. "But right now I don't have a list of stop schools as of right now. I'm planning on narrowing my schools down by the end of the summer. I'm planning on visit (Syracuse) over the summer.

"I'm looking just to meet the coaches in person, see the campus, and check out the football facilities."

The summer will be very important for Lee, who plans to visit several schools in order to trim things down. Lee has a clear idea what he's looking for and when he wants to make his final decision.

"The most important for me will be my education," Lee claimed. "Also the campus atmosphere, relationship with the coaches and my feeling on how I'll fit in the college. I want to decide by the end of my senior season."
