The Syracuse Orange have had their highs and lows this season, but turned on in the Big East Conference Tournament, improving their seeding for the NCAA Tournament, and more importantly, turning back to the positive side of things.
With their first two games in the NCAA Tournament across the country on the west coast, though they were in the east bracket, Syracuse turned up their play and never shut it off versus the Montana Grizzlies, following with a quieter performance offensively against the California Golden Bears, doing enough to win the game.
Both wins have resulted in their return to the east coast, as they head back to the nation's capital to the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., where they closed their regular season earlier in March versus longtime adversary, the Georgetown Hoyas.
Advancing to the Sweet 16 has pitted the Orange, a 4-seed, against the Hoosiers of Indiana, the east's top seed.
