Better than Simply Fair

Improving as a unit means the advancement of the parts that make up that unit. Being one of those parts, Fair has elevated his output. He shares his thoughts going into the Final Four in the video inside.

Syracuse Orange junior forward C.J. Fair has been a dominant force for the team on both the offensive and defensive side throughout the season.

He may not always be Syracuse's top scorer but the looks he takes are rarely far off and his jump shot has grown over his time with the squad. Fair is making 47.5% of his attempts from beyond the arc and a little over 47% of his total tries, both career bests.

Enjoying his most productive season, Fair leads the Orange in points per game (14.3) and rebounds per game (7).

He is also averaging at least one steal and one block per game for the first time in his collegiate career, showing his enhanced involvement on the defensive end.

Having been on the Syracuse squad that lost in the NCAA Tournament as a top seed, Fair answers whether getting to the Final Four as a lower seed is more meaningful.

Being on a team that faced adversity before, Fair gives his take on fellow forward, senior James Southerland.
