In his first season on the floor for the Syracuse Orange, redshirt-freshman Trevor Cooney has come off of the bench in an attempt to provide help when needed.
With senior guard Brandon Triche and sophomore guard Michael Carter-Williams ahead of him, Cooney has typically come in to give one or both a breather or aid during foul trouble.
The latter happened versus the Michigan Wolverines.
With Carter-Williams fouling out, followed by Triche, Cooney tried to make a play with the Orange down by three.
