Syracuse is recruiting two four star junior college offensive tackles in Chad Mavety and Jermaine Eluemunor. The Orange recently visited Lackawanna Community College (PA) twice to show their strong interest in Eluemunor.
His offer list is as impressive as any, but that hasn't scared the Syracuse staff.
"They came to my spring game and they came yesterday," Eluemunor recalled. "They were just saying that they liked watching me play. That they really liked how physical I am and that I'm very athletic for a big guy.
"They said I've got some little things to work on but once I get those little things down, I'll be a really good player."
In order to land a highly sought after prospect like Eluemunor, Syracuse must show a lot of interest. That includes frequent contact and multiple visits. The Orange are doing just that, and the four star offensive tackle has taken notice.
"It's really cool to have them down here a bunch of times," Eluemunor added. "It means a lot."
As far as where the Orange stand among so many of college football's elite, Eluemunor says he has no favorites for the time being. However, is looking to cut his list soon. That list will determine where he takes visits, and one could be to Syracuse.
"As soon as school is done I'm going to start deciding which schools I like and which schools I want to visit," the 4-star JUCO offensive tackle admitted. "I'll know when that time comes where I'll want to take my trips.
"Syracuse said they're going to call me to set up one up."
