Cotton Discusses Top Three

With a decision about a month away, three star O'Fallon (IL) safety Micquell Cotton has declared a top three. He breaks down each school inside.

Three star O'Fallon (IL) safety Micquell Cotton has a top three. They are, in no particular order, Syracuse, Michigan State, and Indiana. He discussed why each school is so high on his list.

Syracuse: "Mainly because of the coaching staff. How they just explained to me how I would fit in with the team. My playing style would go along well with the defense and the team."

Michigan State: "They were my first offer. They were the first school to put me out there. My recruiting coach is real cool too. I've got a good vibe with the recruiting coach. That's one of the main reasons I have Michigan State in the top three."

Indiana: "I got a chance to go down to Indiana on a visit. I've built a real good relationship with the coaches down there. I really like it down there and how the campus looked. I went into the defensive back room with one of the defensive back coaches. He told me if I went to the school, this is what I'd be doing. Just basically how I would fit into the system down there."

With a trip to Indiana behind him, the 5-foot-9 safety is focused on other visits. After taking those trips, he will look to make his final decision within the next month.

"Definitely," Cotton added. "I'll be getting down to Syracuse this summer. I'll be visiting Michigan State too. Iowa State as well. I'll be going there this Saturday. My decision will be made sometime late June."
