Klock Discusses Top Four

Trey Klock recently said he has four schools at the top of his list. He breaks down why he is high on each school, and discusses the impact of a new offer inside.

Hummelstown (PA) Lower Dauphin tight-end Trey Klock is closing in on a decision within the next month. He has named a top four of Rutgers, Syracuse, Boston College, and Temple. Klock has specific reasons why he is interested in each school.

Rutgers: "I have had a lot of interest in Rutgers since the first time I stepped on campus. I got to see two games last year and immediately loved Coach Flood. The atmosphere at the games were great and I really enjoyed my time there. I also took two unofficials this year and got to know the new coaching staff a lot better. Coach Prince and Coach Wilson stopped by the school recently and I speak with all of the RU coaches on Facebook or on the phone regularly."

Boston College: "A major reason that I love BC is because of the family atmosphere. I felt welcomed during my time on campus and felt that I would fit in well. I plan to major in Business and the Carroll School of Management is ranked #6 in the nation. I feel that my relationship with the 2014 commits is another reason that I'm really considering Boston College. Eleven kids have already committed and I talk with those guys almost every night. I feel like Coach Leonard is my type of guy and I feel that I would fit into Coach Day's offense well."

Syracuse: "Coach Shafer is a great guy and I had a good visit. I got a tour of the campus and all of the athletic facilities and then even got to go out to eat with the coaching staff. I'm very thankful for my 'Cuse offer because I had one of my first prospect camps there last summer. I can now appreciate everything that has happened since then. I've spoken with 2013 signee Austin Wilson a few times about what he likes about the school so I will definitely consider them when I get down to making a decision."

Temple: "I had a great visit with Coach Satterfield and Coach Rhule. I had been to Philadelphia a few times but never to Temple so it was nice to finally see it. I stayed overnight with Adam Metz, who played at my high school. It was great to experience a day in the life of a division 1 football player. We watched a lot of film and Coach Satt showed me exactly how I would fit into their program."

Klock maintains none of the four have an advantage over the other at this point.

"They are all equal at this point," Klock explained. "I think my conversations with the coaches and players in the next few days will be the deciding factor."

Recently, Georgia Tech extended an offer to Klock. He is planning on visiting sometime in June, possibly around the 11th. He says he is unsure how the offer will impact his top four.

"I need to visit first before I say anything," Klock added.
