"It went pretty well," Demby explained. "During the camp, the coaches wanted to see me do some drills themselves and wanted to see certain matchups during the one on ones."
During those drills, he was able to showcase his skills for some of the Syracuse coaches despite terrible weather conditions. In fact, he spoke with one of the Orange coaches who said they are very interested in the 6-foot-5 prospect.
"After, I talked to the offensive line coach, Coach Perles. He said they are very interested. He also said during camp, 'I want to see you play for Syracuse.' He said they will definitely keep in touch."
Those words gave Demby the positive feedback he was looking for, and let him know that if he keeps working hard an offer should come.
"That made me feel that I can go to any camp and make a great impression on any coach," Demby admitted. "But it also told me I have to work that much harder in order to get that offer.
"I have way more interest in Syracuse than before because they are now interested in me. Before camp I wasn't being recruited by them."
