"I'm taking two visits this month," Blake explained. "I'm going to Northern Illinois on the 19th. I'm going to fly there and then visit on the 20th. On the 21st, I'll drive to Syracuse and then visit on the 22nd. Those are the two schools I'm looking at."
While on the trips, Blake knows exactly what he's looking to see from each school. Those visits will likely be the deciding factor in his recruitment.
"My mom is going to go with me," Blake admitted. "I'm looking to see the facilities and check those out. I want to see how the coaches are and how the team is. See if I will fit in and feel comfortable there. That's the most important thing."
Looking at those two schools primarily, Blake is high on both the Huskies and the Orange for specific reasons. The commonality between the two is his relationship with the coaches.
"I like Northern Illinois because of the coaching staff," Blake claimed. "They have some great guys there and I have a good relationship with them. Also the fact that they were in a BCS bowl game last year even though they didn't win it. That's pretty cool.
"With Syracuse, I have a great relationship with them also. I talk to those guys all the time. And they're going into the ACC, so the competition is really good. You can see how much the commits love the school so I'm looking forward to the visit."
The visits will be the deciding factor for Blake who will look to make his final choice sometime after they conclude. However, there is no definitive timeframe on when that will happen.
"I'm going to decide after the two visits," Blake declared. "I'm not sure exactly when, but sometime after. I'm going to talk to my family and see how things go. But hopefully it will be soon after I'm done visiting those schools."
UPDATE: Blake was offered by Missouri several hours after this article was originally published. He said that doesn't change his visit plans, but it does push back his decision time table as he looks to visit Missouri in the fall.
