One of the most memorable moments, if not the most memorable moment, in Syracuse Orange men's basketball history came back in 2003 when the national championship trophy came home to central New York.

At the time, Troy Weaver was an assistant coach under Syracuse leader Jim Boeheim.

From his post there, Weaver would elevate to the professional ranks of the NBA, where he would work as a member of the Utah Jazz staff before heading to the Midwest to join the Oklahoma City Thunder.

While with the Thunder, Weaver has seen the squad reach the NBA Finals as well as feature two of the top performers in the Nan in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
