Several Syracuse recruits were either in attendance or watched on television for their season opener against Penn State. Rasaan Stewart, Ervin Phillips, Thomas Holley and Jamil Demby were in attendance checking out the Orange. Chris Clark, 2015 tight end, was supposed to attend but watched on television due to a conflict.
Stewart: "I liked the atmosphere and how many people came out. Both teams played well. Defense dominated the first half but in the second is when the offense started showing up. It was a great game even though PSU won."
Phillips: "It was exciting to see all those fans."
Demby: "It was a great experience and I liked the way Syracuse played. I think I could be a good fit in their offense."
Clark: "It was a competitive game. Both defenses played really well. Cuse defense game them a chance to win. The offense just wasn't really together today. At least it seemed that way. It didn't really change anything. I mean, I guess as of now Cuse is my number one though if I had to say."
Holley did not respond to attempts to contact him in order to get a reaction.
