Recruits Believe in an Orange Upset

Syracuse is facing one of the best teams in the country when Clemson comes to the Carrier Dome on Saturday. Can the Orange pull off the improbable upset? Several recruits believe it's possible.

Syracuse has a monumental task in front of them on Saturday when national title contender Clemson comes into town to battle the Orange. There is one group that believes Syracuse can pull off the upset, and that is targets and commits of the Orange.

A.J. Long: "Yes I do. With T-Hunt playing and the Dome rocking, defense has found itself the past two weeks. I do. It's going to be a high flying football game."

Zaire Franklin: "Of course! (Head coach Scott) Shafer stopped Geno Smith that year. They had arguably the most explosive offense in the country two years ago in the Dome. They dominated Louisville and (Teddy) Bridgewater in the Dome. They can stop Tahj Boyd on Saturday no doubt."

Colton Moskal: "I definitely think they can pull off the upset. Just knowing the coaches and what kind of guys they have in there, I definitely feel like they can do it."

Parris Bennett: "Of course I think they can. They're home in the Dome and that's the best place to pull it off."

Jason Cabinda: "Absolutely without a doubt. As long as the defense can contain Boyd and Hunt and the offense can get to another good start, they'll be in position to win."

Chris Clark: "I think the home field advantage is going to be huge for ‘Cuse. It's going to be a tough game. Clemson is a very good football team."

Aaron Roberts: "Yeah definitely they can win."

Rodney Williams: "Definitely. We are going to play hardnosed!"

Naesean Howard: "Yeah I believe they can do it! Limit mistakes and it's a good game with a win for the ‘Cuse!"

Lamar Dawson: "It depends on how the quarterbacks play."

Harold Landry: "If they get a pass rush on Boyd and slow Watkins down, I think they could."
