SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- As expected, Syracuse ran away from Holy Family in an exhibition matchup in the Carrier Dome. The Orange used a strong 2-3 zone that forced over a dozen turnovers and held the Tigers to a low shooting percentage as Syracuse won in a route 79-41.
Syracuse rotated 11 players throughout the game to give some of the younger players game experience. Tyler Ennis (12 points) and Jerami Grant (13 points) led the way for the Orange offensively, and freshman Tyler Roberson, Ron Patterson and B.J. Johnson contributed as well.
DaJuan Coleman was steady on the glass along with Baye Moussa Keita and Trevor Cooney drilled two early threes to help the Orange pull away within the first few minutes of the game. C.J. Fair hit a pair of triples in the second half on his way to 13 points.
CuseNation.com will have much more from the Carrier Dome.
