Milford Prospects Take in 'Cuse

In addition to hosting Wake Forest on the field, Syracuse also hosted several prospects from Milford Academy on Saturday. They discuss their experiences inside.

Syracuse had more their game against Wake Forest going on Saturday. They also hosted several recruits from Milford Academy. Tight end Jordan Fuchs, offensive linemen Alexander Thompson, Tyler Shadrack and Tim Gardner, wide receiver Kyle Buss and cornerback Jamar Summers were all in attendance to see the game day atmosphere at the Carrier Dome.

Jordan Fuchs: "We got there about 10 or 10:30. We walked over to the stadium and got to walk around on the field for a little bit. We pretty much hung out there until the game started. There were a whole bunch of coaches that came over to say hi. I talked to the tight end's coach (George McDonald) and he said to send him my film. I thought it was a good atmosphere. They definitely had a lot of students there. It was great. It was real loud in there."

Alexander Thompson: "I liked the atmosphere a lot. I thought I could fit in there pretty good. I felt really comfortable there. I thought they did pretty good. I liked what I saw from the offense and the defense. It was really competitive and I liked the atmosphere. The coaches said they were really interested. I talked to the offensive line coach and he said they're interested so we'll see where it goes right now."

Kyle Buss: "I thought it was great. It was great going on the field and meeting all of the coaches. I talked to the recruiting director, Eric White. It was great talking to them before the game. Being on the field and feeling what it would be like to actually play on that field, it was great. Once the started, I loved the atmosphere. I loved the fans and how everyone was into it. It just felt good."

Jamar Summers: "It was fun. It was a nice experience. The Dome, it was real loud. It can get even louder because it wasn't at full capacity. I could tell that the fans are real dedicated to their Orange. The Syracuse coaches are real cool guys. Most of them are young so they can more easily adapt to us younger guys. It was a nice experience and I actually got to meet Floyd Little, so that was big for me."

Tyler Shadrack: "It was good. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the Dome. Especially in the third and fourth quarters. The coaches didn't discuss an offer or where I stand. They just said that they were going to look at my film."

Offensive tackle Chasz Wright was also invited, but he had to take his SATs and was unable to make it.
