Syracuse, N.Y.-- Behind a dominating performance by Trevor Cooney, Syracuse found life in the second half and downed Cornell, 82-60.
The surprising news, however, came when the Orange took to the court for warmups and Jerami Grant was in street clothes.
The Orange would not be deterred, though, and withered a sluggish first half start and pulled within six behind Cooney's four-of-five shooting behind the arc. The red-shirt sophomore continued his hot play in the second and finished with 27 points on the evening.
