Syracuse landed a big interior lineman when Kayton Samuels committed during his official visit.
When Kayton Samuels picked up an offer from Syracuse, it forced him to completely reconsider his recruitment. He was previously committed to Georgia State, but the Orange were too much to pass up.
After decommitting from the Panthers, the Lithonia (Ga.) product took the trip up north for an official visit to Central New York. He felt at home and decided Syracuse was where he wanted to play college football.
Samuels announced his decision on signing day.
Samuels chose Syracuse over offers from Ball State, Boise State, Arkansas State, Buffalo, Florida International and Tulane in addition to Georgia State.
