Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN)
Notable:
Long has been the champion of the Syracuse class, helping the Orange recruit throughout the cycle. He enrolled in January in order to get a head start on learning the playbook. It will be interesting to see how he develops, but he has a winning attitude and will not be outworked.

Corey Cooper

Wide Receiver

Jireh Prep (Matthews, NC)
Notable:
Cooper committed to Syracuse as part of the 2013 class. However, he did not qualify and was forced to attend prep school for a semester. He made the grade and enrolled in January with Long, his roommate. Cooper passed on overtures from North Carolina, South Carolina and others to stay with the Orange.

Wayne Williams

ASA Junior College (Brooklyn, NY)
Notable:
Williams introduced the fanbase to "Swagger Cuse." He was unable to make it for the 2013 season, but made the grade over the last semester and enrolled in January. Williams has the potential to start right away.

Notable:
Three star linebacker Parris Bennett has been committed to Syracuse since the summer. He is a solid prospect who will benefit from the strength and conditioning program.

Zaire Franklin

La Salle College High (Wyndmoor, PA)
Notable:
Franklin was a big get for Syracuse early in the process. He resisted post-commitment interest from Penn State and North Carolina among others. He has helped the Orange recruit throughout the rest of the cycle.

Notable:
Williams impressed Syracuse during a summer camp, and the Orange offered immediately. He committed shortly after giving Syracuse a solid safety prospect.

Collins Hills High (Suwanee, GA)
Notable:
Thomas was recruited by Oklahoma for some time, but the Orange made him more of a priority. He responded to Syracuse's overtures and committed last weekend. He rounds out the Orange linebacker haul in 2014.

Notable:
Cordy committed to Syracuse the weekend before signing day. He gives the Orange another Florida player with speed on the outside.

Notable:
Williams is Syracuse's lone four-star prospect in this class. He is a cousin of quarterback commit A.J. Long and current Syracuse receiver Jarrod West. He gives the Orange a big time playmaker on the outside.

Notable:
Moskal was an early commitment to Syracuse who made linebacker a position of focus. He has a lot of upside and could compete for playing time right away. A physical linebacker who can run, Moskal gives the Orange a prospect that could be the future in the middle of the defense.

Notable:
Edouard has arguably the most upside in this class. He has big time speed for the position and runs with long strides. The three star quarterback also has a strong arm both in the pocket and on the run. He is a big get for Syracuse.

Notable:
Ishmael committed the day before signing day after having Syracuse at the top of his list for months. The three star prospect may end up being one of the gems of the class as he has enormous upside.

Notable:
Syracuse went after Hudson hard as George McDonald and Tim Lester made big impressions on the three-star corner. He committed in December and gives the Orange more speed and depth in the secondary.

Notable:
Harvey jumped onto the Syracuse radar late with an offer towards the end of January. He took an official visit and committed shortly after. He has upside as an athletic tackle who can rush the passer. Looking for a tackle late in the process, the Orange did well to land Harvey.

Notable:
Samuels had a great official visit last weekend. He held off on making an announcement until signing day, wanting to have that special moment with friends and family. He gives the Orange their third defensive tackle in the class.

Notable:
Custis has a big frame and is a versatile offensive weapon. He can line up at wide receiver or slide inside as a traditional tight end. Custis is extremely athletic and could blossom in the Syracuse offense..

Notable:
Philips is the lone running back commit for Syracuse in the 2014 class. He is a scat-back type who is elusive in the open field and also a threat out of the backfield. He has the versatility to line up in the slot as well. Philips gives the Orange a versatile weapon that could help the offense take that next step.

Dowels gave Syracuse a verbal during a big recruiting weekend in the middle of January. The Orange were able to land him despite late offers from Clemson and Oklahoma.

Notable:
Three star safety Treevon Prater flipped from Western Michigan to Syracuse in the middle of January. Prater gives Syracuse a bigger safety prospect who has the ability to move down and play corner as well.

Notable:
Enoicy committed the weekend before national signing day during an official visit. He has a big time offer list and is the result of George McDonald's recruiting tactics. He will play wide receiver for the Orange.

Notable:
Roberts committed to Syracuse in the fall, and was their interior offensive lineman priority. He helped the Orange further their reach into the Midwest. Roberts has potential as a strong, physical blocker. He helped Syracuse recruit Denzel Ward as well.

Notable:
Dawson had to battle aplastic anemia , but has a positive long-term prognosis. While he may not join the program until January 2015, He gives the Orange a bigger corner with solid ball skils.

Notable:
The 6-foot-9 Ward made his announcement on signing day that he chose Syracuse as his collegiate destination. The sports management program was a big factor for him. Great get for the Orange at a key position.

Notable:
Slayton was a big priority for Syracuse throughout the recruiting process. A highly coveted prospect at a position of need, Slayton gave the Orange the athletic edge rusher they wanted. He has the frame and upside to become a force in the Syracuse system.
