Levine pledges Orange

Syracuse added another Florifa prospect on Thursday on defensive end Dana Levine.

Syracuse picked up it's first defensive lineman in the 2015 class on Thursday. Hallandale (Fla.) defensive end Dana Levine committed to the Orange only eight days after being offered.

Levine was excited when Syracuse extended the scholarship opportunity, immediately putting them at the top of his list. Ultimately, the combination of academics and athletics was too much for him to pass up.

The 6-foot-4 defensive end is Syracuse's eighth in the 2015 class, and fifth from Florida. Offensive coordinator George McDonald has been able to land each Sunshine State product without any visiting the campus.

Levine chose Syracuse over an offer from UAB.
