Andrew Spence commits to Syracuse

One day after receiving a decommitment, Syracuse added a player at the same position. Cornerback Andrew Spence gave the Orange a verbal on Friday.

That was fast! One day after receiving some bad news about Davante Davis decommitting, Syracuse got things back on the positive side of things by adding a different Florida cornerback.

Coral Gables (Fla.) High corner Andrew Spence verbally pledged to the Orange on Friday. He is yet another Sunshine State prospect to commit to Syracuse without visiting the campus.

Spence chose Syracuse over offers from South Alabama and UAB, as well as interest from Michigan and South Carolina. He is the eighth commitment in Syracuse's 2015 class, and fifth from the talent-rich state of Florida.
