Duerig pledges Orange

Syracuse added another three-star prospect to their 2015 class on Tuesday. Andrejas Duerig committed during an unofficial visit.

Make it an even dozen. Syracuse landed their 12th commitment in the 2015 class on Tuesday when Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel two-way lineman Andrejas Duerig gave the Orange a verbal during an unofficial visit.

Duerig has been high on Syracuse throughout the process as his lone BCS conference offer. He visited for the first time Tuesday and did not leave without pulling the trigger.

The 6-foot-4, 272-pound three-star prospect will play along the interior of the offensive line for the Orange, likely at guard. He gives them five offensive line commitments this cycle.

Duerig chose Syracuse over offers from Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, Toledo and Western Michigan with interest from Illinois.
