Hallandale (Fla.) High defensive end Dana Levine was an early verbal to Syracuse despite never seeing the campus in person. That will change the weekend of December 5th as he will take his official visit at that time. Syracuse is losing their top two defensive ends in Micah Robinson and Robert Welsh.
That gives Syracuse a big need for pass rushing defensive ends, and Levine provides that potential. He says during his senior season he has gotten stronger and faster, which should be music to Syracuse fans' ears. He may take a year or so before he breaks out, but has the ability to be a solid starter for the Orange down the road.
