Amir Ealey commits to Syracuse

Syracuse landed Keystone State product Amir Ealey on Sunday.

Syracuse added one of the top players in the northeast to their 2015 recruiting class on Sunday as Coatesville (Pa.) High tight end/defensive end Amir Ealey verbally committed to Syracuse, a source told CuseNation.com.

Ealey took his official visit during the weekend of December 5th, and just returned from a trip to Maryland over this past weekend. After returning home, he decided Syracuse was the place for him.

Ealey is rated as a three star tight end, but the Orange want his talents on the defensive line. He chose Syracuse over offers Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, UCF, Virginia and West Virginia.
