A source has confirmed to CuseNation.com that Dana Levine is no longer part of Syracuse's 2015 class. Syracuse was very happy with their defensive end haul, and Levine has other options, leading to the decision. Levine is currently on the Temple campus for an official visit after taking an official to South Florida two weeks ago.
Levine committed to Syracuse back in May as part of a flurry of commitments over the summer. He was one of the departed George McDonald's early hauls, but is the second to not be part of the class. Levine confirmed the news shortly after CuseNation.com learned of the information.
Syracuse still has 25 players committed this cycle including five defensive ends though Kenny Carter is coming in as an athlete. The other four defensive ends are Jake Pickard, Amir Ealey, Qaddir Sheppard and Brandon Ginnetti. Ginnetti is enrolling in January of 2016.
