2015 Signees Sticking with 'Cuse

NCAA sanctions do not impact the status of elite recruiting class.

Syracuse has the 10th ranked recruiting class in the 2015 cycle with four top-100 players. With the NCAA sanctions coming down on Friday, it's natural to wonder if the news impacts the status of any of the four.

The four players include 5-star wing Malachi Richardson, 4-star forward Tyler Lydon, 4-star forward Moustapha Diagne and 4-star guard Franklin Howard. CuseNation.com reached out to each for their reaction.

Richardson, Lydon and Howard all confirmed that their commitment status is not effected by the findings and punishment issued to Syracuse Athletics. Diagne's coach, Jason Hasson, said nothing has changed with his status. This is, of course, good news for the Orange program.

Howard, in fact, indicated that he has already spoken to a member of the coaching staff. An indication that the Syracuse coaches are hard at work trying to mitigate the recruiting fallout of the sanctions.

Matthew Moyer, a 2016 verbal commitment, also indicated he was expecting to receive a phone call from Jim Boeheim to discuss the situation.
