Blair Wins Ohio North/South Classic MVP

Syracuse signee Marquise Blair had a strong performance in Ohio's high school all-star football game on Saturday, taking home MVP honors.

The highest rated player in Syracuse's 2015 class, four-star safety Marquise Blair, played in the Ohio North/South Classic on Saturday. The game is the annual all-star game for the best high school football talent in the state.

Blair had a strong game, recording four interceptions on his way to being named game MVP, according to Scout's Ryan Ginn.

Blair had two interceptions in each half, and had all four in the first three quarters. He is still working towards becoming academically eligible, and has been doing everything necessary to do just that according to his head coach Doug Haas.

The strong performance was not the only good Syracuse football recruiting news of the day, as the Orange landed prized four-star running back Robert Washington. Should Washington stick with Syracuse, it would mean they have landed at least one four-star prospect in each full recruiting class under Scott Shafer.
