The NCAA released the APR scores for the 2013-14 academic year on Wednesday. The football program received a 970 while the basketball team received a perfect 1,000.
The scores mean that Syracuse does not have to worry about a postseason ban for the 2015-16 athletic year for either program. It also means both programs are doing well academically. That determination is on a four-year average of each individual program, which is required to be above 930.
The four year average for the football program was 968 while the basketball program held a 970 score. Both are well above the minimum line.
It also means that Syracuse has a little wiggle room during the next academic measurement because of the high scores they've received.
