Blair Finds Junior College Home

Marquise Blair, a former four-star safety and class of 2015 Syracuse Orange signee, has found a junior college home.

Former four-star safety and Syracuse signee Marquise Blair has found a junior college home, his Wooster (Ohio) High head coach Doug Haas tells CuseNation.com. Blair is on the Dodge City Community College in Dodge City (Kan.) campus and is set to start participating in their training camp.

Haas said he took Blair to the airport on Friday, and he arrived that day to start the next phase of his football career.

Blair was the highest rated player in Syracuse's 2015 class. He was expected to impact the Orange defense right away, with a chance to start as a true freshmen. But he fell five credits short of qualifying, according to the NCAA after a nearly two month review of his academic course work.

Syracuse will still recruit Blair, and hope he can join their 2017 class, with the potential to enroll in January of 2017.

Dodge City routinely produces division one talent, and are in the "others receiving votes" category in the NJCAA preseason top-20.
