Earlier today, 2017 4-star point guard Quade Green told CuseNation.com he will visit Syracuse on September 23rd. He scheduled the visit earlier today with the Syracuse coaching staff.
A source close to the Syracuse basketball program told CuseNation.com last week that Green has become a priority. That information was passed along days after the SU elite camp on August 29. Green attended the camp and said it went very well.
After Trevon Duval announced he will transfer out of state, Syracuse is beginning to shift their focus to Green. Not only is Quade a great scoring point guard, he's also an excellent defender.
He attends Neumann-Goretti, the same high school that produced Rick Jackson and Scoop Jardine.
Syracuse views Green as a highly talented player who is a natural winner. Although his interest level with the Orange is high, he told CuseNation.com he isn't close to a commitment.
Green holds offers from La Salle, Maryland, Missouri, Providence, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Temple, USC, Villanova and Xavier, among others.
