Starting center Rob Trudo and starting tight end Josh Parris will be game time decisions for Syracuse football’s matchup against Central Michigan on Saturday, head coach Scott Shafer said during his weekly press conference on Thursday. Both suffered undisclosed injuries during their win over Wake Forest last week.
If Trudo is unable to go, backup center Jason Emerich will start in his place. Kendall Moore would replace Parris. Both played last week against Wake Forest and have been performing well during practice this week according to coach Shafer.
Syracuse kicks off with Central Michigan at 12:30pm inside the Carrier Dome on Saturday. The Orange is seeking its first 3-0 start since 1991. They defeated Central Michigan 40-3 last season. The first 10,000 fans to enter the Dome will receive a Syracuse jersey rally towel with the number 44 on it.
