Orange in the NBA: MCW bounces back

Jerami Grant, Michael Carter-Williams and Dion Waiters were all in action tonight in the NBA. See how the former Syracuse basketball alum's performed.

Michael Carter-Williams bounced back after a poor opening night performance against the Knicks. The former lottery pick scored 13 points, tallied 11 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds in a 118-113 loss to the Washington Wizards (2-0). He committed only three turnovers. The Bucks dropped to 0-2 on the young season. Through two games, MCW is averaging 16.5 points and 6.5 assists per game. Milwaukee will visit the Raptors (2-0) on Sunday. 

Jerami Grant led the Philadelphia 76ers tonight with 12 points. He also added 5 rebounds and 2 assists. The Sixers lost to the Utah Jazz, 99-71, falling to 0-2. They will host the Cleveland Cavaliers (1-1) on Monday night. 

Dion Waiters played 29 minutes for the Thunder on Friday night, scoring only 3 points on 1-of-6 shooting. Waiters grabbed 7 rebounds and was a team best +24 while on the court. OKC improved to 2-0 with a 139-136 OT win in Orlando (0-2). The Thunder will host the Nuggets (1-1) on Sunday. 

Carmelo Anthony and Wesley Johnson will be in action on Saturday as the Knicks travel to Washington (2-0), and the Clippers (2-0) host the Kings (1-1).
