Breaking down a huge recruiting weekend for the Syracuse Orange

Syracuse is set to host several talented prospects this weekend, including an SEC commit, former SEC pledge and other targets. Full breakdown of where things stand with each, including chances the Orange land them, inside.

Syracuse is facing the number one team in the country in the Clemson Tigers on Saturday. That's not the only important thing happening for the football program, however, as they will be hosting several big time prospects.

Tyrek Tisdale is a versatile athlete who could play a variety of positions on either side of the ball. The former Florida Gators commit says he is excited to see what the Orange has to offer and has strong interest. Syracuse likes him as an offensive player, likely as an h-back or wide receiver. West Virginia and Oregon State are the biggest threats.

Percent Chance: 40%

Jonathan Jones is one of the top inside linebackers in the 2016 class. He has Michigan and Notre Dame hot on his trail, with Duke and Stanford also involved. The Orange have a shot, but have to make a big impression this weekend. Jones says he is "highly anticipating" the visit and is hyped to check out Syracuse.

Percent Chance: 25%

Cycoby Burch is a bigger corner and would give Syracuse so much needed defensive backfield versatility and size. He could play safety or corner for the Orange. West Virginia seems to be the biggest threat to Syracuse in this one, and he has been considered a WVU lean for some time. IndianaCincinnati and Florida International are also involved. Burch is also high school teammates with Jones and Tisdale. Get to know Burch a bit better in his Scout Spotlight at the top of the page.

Vosean Joseph is currently committed to Florida, but is at least looking around. He took a trip to West Virginia last week, but that did not change his status with the Gators. The Orange getting a visit is big, as he previously named five schools that would receive an official and Syracuse was not listed. Changing his mind is a nice job by the coaching staff, and now they have their shot to make an impression. Still, Florida will be hard to beat. South Carolina and Louisville are also in the mix.

Percent Chance: 15%

Darius Stubbs is currently committed to Syracuse and is visiting for an unofficial. This is no small task given that he is coming up from Georgia on his own dime. Stubbs is a very solid Orange commit and there is not much to worry about here as long as the current staff remains in tact. He is coming to Syracuse as an h-back but has the ability to play defensive back as well.

Percent Chance: 100%

Noel Brouse, an offensive tackle commit from Pennsylvania, will be attending the game on Saturday. He has been in attendance on multiple occassions this season. Brouse is also very solid to the Orange. He is one of two offensive tackle commits for SU in the 2016 class.

Percent Chance: 100%

Dymelle Parker is the third Syracuse commit who will be in attendance for the game against Clemson. Parker was impressive in his game on Friday, and Scout's Brian Dohn says he will be receiving a third star. He is fully committed to the Orange.

Percent Chance: 100%

Noah Jordan-Williams is a class of 2017 wide receiver who hails from local CBA. He picked up an offer from the Orange during a summer camp in 2014, and has had Syracuse at the top of his list ever since. Jordan-Williams still has them as his current favorite, but is not ready to pull the trigger. He wants to see his recruiting process through and evaluate all of his options. Having him in attendance once again (he has taken in a few games this season) only helps build that relationship. Right now, Syracuse is a heavy favorite.

Percent Chance: 75%

An emerging prospect in the class of 2018 is Middle Village (N.Y.) Christ The King defensive back Jarrett Paul. He is hearing from several power five schools, including Boston CollegeIndianaClemsonMichiganRutgers and many others. Paul is taking an unofficial visit this weekend to check out Syracuse for the first time. His primary recruiter is Joe Adam, and the two continue to develop their relationship. He is not close to a decision and does not have his first offer yet, but that is sure to come.

Percent Chance: 35%
