In three wins at the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament won by Syracuse, Lydon averaged 15.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.0 blocks, 1.0 steals and 30.7 minutes played. The 6-foot-8 native of Elizaville, New York went 15-of-25 from the field (.600), including 7-of-10 (.700) on 3-pointers. He was 10-of-13 from the foul line (.769). Lydon had 18 points, eight rebounds and five blocks against Charlotte, 16 points and 12 rebounds versus Connecticut, and 13 points and eight rebounds against Texas A&M.
Through six games this season, Lydon is averaging 11.5 points and 8.7 rebounds in 31 minutes per game.
Syracuse returns to the floor to take on Wisconsin (4-3) on Wednesday in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge. Tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
