When Syracuse offered Hallandale (Fla.) High wide receiver Neru N'Shaka on Saturday, he was committed to Virginia. His primary recruiter at UVA was Chris Beatty, now the running backs coach with the Orange. Just a few days later, N'Shaka has officially decommitted from the Cavs.
Beatty is now his primary recruiter at Syracuse.
N'Shaka had a previous relationship with the current Syracuse coaches, who offered him while at Bowling Green. N'Shaka has an official visit set to Toledo during the weekend of January 15th. He is still working on a date to officially visit Syracuse. Those are two of the schools firmly in the mix for his services.
He is listed at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds and runs a 4.44 40-time. Syracuse is looking to add depth to the wide receiver position this cycle, and are also after Purdue commit Jack Wegher, Ahmed Bah and others.
