Both 2016 Syracuse signees receive McDonalds All-American nominations

Tyus Battle and Matthew Moyer have received McDonald's All-American nominations.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Both class of 2016 Syracuse basketball signees were nominated for the 2016 McDonald's All-American game early Tuesday morning.

Tyus Battle and Matthew Moyer, along with roughly 400 other student-athletes, received the nomination. 

Syracuse has had twenty McDonald's All-Americans: Malachi RichardsonDajuan ColemanRakeem ChristmasMichael Carter-WilliamsFab Melo, Jonny Flynn, Donte Greene, Eric DevendorfCarmelo Anthony, Michae Lloyd, John Wallace, Adrian Autry, Conrad McRae, Billy Owens, Derrick Coleman, Stephen Thompson, Rodney Walker, Michael Brown, Pearl Washington and Tony Bruin.

The 2016 McDonald's All-American game will be played on March 30th at the United Center in Chicago. 

The final rosters will be announced on ESPNU on January 17th at 10:30 p.m. ET.
