Cass Tech is one of the best high school football programs in the Midwest. Syracuse was able to land one player from the Detroit (Mich.) school in 2016 in linebacker Tim Walton. They want to add to that in 2017, and are targeting quarterback Rodney Hall.
"I'm very interested," Hall told CuseNation.com.
Hall says Walton is already working on recruiting him, and calls the Syracuse signee his "big cousin." The two are close, and that obviously helps the Orange in Hall's recruitment.
But Walton's decision to play in Central New York is not the only reason he likes the program.
"I like the head coach and the setting of the school," Hall said.
Hall is hoping to get on campus for a visit soon, but says he does not have anything set up yet. Even though nothing has been scheduled, he will "definitely get up there."
He also has offers from Eastern Michigan with interest from Toledo and Western Michigan. Get to know Hall better in his Scout Spotlight in the video at the top of the page.
